German accesoires company based in Barcelona is looking for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR to identify, pursue and win strategic and tactical new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to use his/her current business development experience to expand the business in Russia, Germany, France, Eastern European countries among others.
• Helping to define and develop a new business strategy tailored to the needs of the company
• Proactively initiating new client relationships
• Following up on new business leads and identifying organic growth opportunities
• Prioritizing opportunities
• Defining new business processes, and managing that process in conjunction with the Managing Director
• Contributing to capabilities presentations and other marketing materials
• Coordinating internal resources within office to develop client proposals
• Leading new business/pitch presentations
• Developing and maintaining a client and prospect database
• Leveraging existing partnerships and developing new ones
• Leading internal new business meetings
Skills, Knowledge, Attributes & Relevant Work Experience
• Previous international business development experience (business modeling and working with clients)
• Solid track record of developing successful relationships
• Confirmed and proven record of closing major accounts
• Previous experience in developing partnership opportunities .
Education & Qualifications
• 5+ years experience business development experience, preferably in the textile sector but it´s not a must.
• Bachelor´s degree
• Bilingual English and Spanish + French or German or Russian…
The job will be based close to Barcelona, the candidate will be travelling in Europe.
